POLICE have been continuing their investigations into an alleged murder in Boscombe.

Officers were seen by the public toilets at Boscombe Cliff Gardens this morning.

Witnesses reported seeing a police response in the area shortly before 10am, including three police cars parked in The Marina near Michelgrove Road.

This came a day after more than 20 bins were taped off in Hannington Grove.

A Dorset Police spokesperson confirmed to the Daily Echo that the police presence in both of these areas over the past 24 hours was in relation to the ongoing investigation into the alleged murder of James Cutting in Boscombe Chine Gardens.

As reported, 31-year-old Mr Cutting was found with stab wounds in Boscombe Chine Gardens on the evening of June 30.

A teenage boy from London has been charged with murder and attempted murder.

The 16-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Poole Magistrates’ Court yesterday and is due to appear at Winchester Crown Court today.

A 20-year-old London man arrested on suspicion of murder and being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs has been released under investigation for the drugs offence, but will face no further police action in relation to the alleged murder.

A 19-year-old man from London arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs and assisting an offender has been released on police bail.

A 43-year-old man from Oxford arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs has been released under investigation.

A 33-year-old Bournemouth man arrested on suspicion of murder will face no further action and a 28-year-old Bournemouth woman arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender will also face no further action.
