POLICE have praised the public for their "restraint and friendliness" as the pubs re-opened across the town on Saturday.
Officers launched #OpNightwatch because they expected to deal with a lot of alcohol-fuelled incidents.
However, a spokesman for Poole police said there were only three incidents on Saturday night.
They included fights in North Street, Poole and High Street, Swanage which were both dispersed. One dispersal notice was issued to "a very silly 21-year-old drunk male" at Ashley Cross.
