READERS of the Romsey Advertiser can now look back at pictures from the 2017 Romsey Festival.

The Romsey Festival was scheduled to kick off from tomorrow and would have run until July 19, but organisers were forced to cancel the event due to coronavirus fears.

Now readers can step back in time to the last Romsey Festival, which celebrated arts, crafts and musical talent from Romsey and the surrounding villages.

The summer event usually includes a variety of concerts, displays, exhibitions and encourages new talent.

It looks to represent all areas of the community and offers events appealing to audiences at an affordable price.

This comes as zero hospital patients in Hampshire died from coronavirus, according to figures released by the NHS on Wednesday.

Daily figures cover University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS), Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust and Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The Romsey Festival began in 1993.
