ANOTHER Hampshire lane has been blocked by fly-tippers targeting rural parts of the county.

A narrow country road near Castle Malwood Hill, just of the A31, was left impassable after a large pile of waste was dumped illegally.

Pieces of wood and long tubes of cardboard were among the items offloaded in the lane.

A post on Minstead Parish Council's Facebook page says: "The road is completely blocked, which will cause a problem for those turning off the A31.

"Because of its position it would be impossible to pass it. Please be careful."

The incident has sparked fury on social media.

One of the posts said fly-tipping was becoming an almost daily occurrence. Another said the problem was "getting out of hand".

The waste has nlow been removed by New Forest District Council.

It is the latest in a series of incidents in which lanes have been blocked by rubbish dumped illegally.

Two of the most recent cases involved the New Forest villages of Brook and Bartley.
