A MYSTERY lottery winner has less than a month left to claim a life-changing prize of £1m.

The clock is ticking to find the owner of a ticket bought in Poole for the Lotto draw held on January 29, 2020.

The winning numbers on that date were 7, 23, 40, 42, 47, 59 and the bonus ball was 58.

The lucky ticket-holder matched five main numbers and the bonus ball.

However, they only have until Monday, July 27, 2020, to claim their prize.

Now National Lottery players are being urged to check their tickets one last time, either online via The National Lottery website or through The National Lottery App.

Camelot’s Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at The National Lottery, said: “Time really is running out for the winner of this prize, but we are still hopeful that someone will come forward at the very last minute to claim the money.

“We’re urging everyone to check their old tickets one final time or look anywhere a missing Lotto ticket could be hiding. This life-changing prize could really help to make dreams become a reality for someone out there.

“In the current situation we’re encouraging everyone to check their tickets online via The National Lottery website or via The National Lottery App. You can scan your retail draw-based game tickets on the National Lottery App to see if you’ve won a prize.

He added: “While we are all trying to do the right thing by staying indoors as much as possible at the moment, it’s a good opportunity to dig out and check those old lottery tickets.”

If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, then the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.

The person with the winning ticket can call the National Lottery Line on 0333 234 5050 to claim.
