A BIG hearted mother who fostered and adopted Nigerian children has passed away at the age of 80.
Valerie Mary Lewis has left a hole in the lives of her nine children and in the lives of those children she fostered and adopted.
Her daughter Lisa said: “Mum was willing to do anything for anyone, after having nine children of her own, she went on to foster Nigerian children and adopted two of them. Mum loved spending time with her friends and family and she enjoyed playing darts.”
“She will be remembered for her constant love for children.”
Valerie leaves behind David, Lisa, Kevin, Daron, Vincent, Julie, Diane, Tia and Affolake along with all her grandchildren.
Her funeral was held in South Kinson on June 9.
