COASTGUARDS called to reports that a 14-year-old girl had suffered a seizure on the beach were unable to find her.
Southbourne Coastguards were alerted by the national maritime operations centre just before 8pm last night.
They were told the casualty had also suffered a cut to her nose in an incident at Bournemouth pier.
They carried out an extensive search of the beach but could not find the girl and no one made themselves known to them.
