ANOTHER hospital patient in Dorset has died after testing positive for Covid-19, bringing the total to 155.
The latest death recorded by the Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS Foundation Trusts occurred on June 15.
In total, 67 people have died at Royal Bournemouth Hospital, 48 at Poole Hospital, 24 at Dorset County Hospital and 16 at Dorset Healthcare University NHS Foundation Trust.
NHS England said yesterday (June 19) that 79 people who had tested positive for the Coronavirus had died in the previous 24 hours.
The total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England is 28,061.
The patients were aged between 35 and 98 years old.
Eight patients, aged between 35 and 92, had no known underlying health conditions.
Two of the deaths occurred in hospitals in the south west.
