A MAN threatened staff of a convenience store in Bournemouth with a knife before taking cash from the till and leaving.
Police were called to the incident at Central Convenience Stores in Cunningham Crescent shortly at 6.49pm on Thursday June 18.
A man entered the shop, approached the staff at the till and threatened them with a knife.
He then reached into the till, took a quantity of cash and left the store.
Officers searched the area, but no arrests were made. A full investigation has been launched into the robbery.
And detectives have also released a CCTV image of the suspect and have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
Detective constable Sam Knight, of Bournemouth CID, said: “This must have been a very distressing incident for staff at the store and we have launched a full investigation to identify the man responsible.
“We have obtained CCTV images of the suspect.
“I appreciate they are not great quality and his face is partially covered, but I would urge anyone who may recognise him from the clothes he is wearing and his build to please contact us.
“I am also appealing to anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area yesterday evening to come forward.”
