THESE bundles of joy are the latest new arrivals we're celebrating in the Dorset Echo.

Most of these extra special arrivals came into the world at Dorset County Hospital (DCH) in Dorchester - and their parents couldn't be prouder.

Let's meet the latest batch of little cuties.

Dorset Echo:

Ella Elizabeth Pavey, born May 2 at DCH weighing 8lb 2oz to parents Kim and Matthew Pavey of Weymouth. Younger sister to Charlie and Theo.

Dorset Echo:

Lillie-Mae Eloise Whyte at 6 hours old, born May 11 at DCH weighing 7lb 3oz to Tara Whyte of Weymouth.

Tara tells us: "My waters broke at 5.45am on Sunday 10th May 2020, labour was induced that evening at 9pm and Lillie-Mae was born the following morning, Monday 11th May at 10.02 via emergency C section. We went home on Wednesday 13th and she is now over a month old."

Dorset Echo:

Tiffany Louise McHale born April 27 at DCH weighing 9lb 3oz to parents Theresa and Thomas McHale of Weymouth. Younger sister to proud big brother Tommy.

Dorset Echo:

Harper Elizabeth Runyeard at 5 weeks old, born April 27 at DCH weighing 6lb 5oz to Sarah Watson and Andy Runyeard of Weymouth.

Sarah tells us: "Our little girl was breach so I was going in for a planned C section on the 27th April, Harper was born at 11.07am it was strange not having a normal birth with family waiting outside, my partner was only allowed to stay for 24hrs after she was born and wasn’t allowed to see us again till we came out. We were in hospital for two days."

Dorset Echo:

Oliver Ian Philip Davies born April 7 at DCH weighing 5lb 1oz to parents Christopher and Tracy Davies of Stoborough. Little brother to Matt, Kyle, James, Stephen, Shania, Michael, Sophie and Harry.

Tracy tells us: "Our baby arrived 3 to 4 weeks early. My husband chris and I couldnt be together for his birth due to lockdown.

"Midwives wore face masks and aprons and no visitors were allowed, the busy maternity unit was unusually quiet.

"Giving birth to Oliver was relaxed and straight forward and a big part of that was due to the amazing care I had from midwife Nikki Grassby. She made me feel calm and relaxed, I forgot about all the crazy scary world outside and the anxiety about being on my own disappeared.

"I gave birth to our beautiful baby boy and this time I got to cut the cord! I FaceTimed Chris and showed him our baby! He was elated and he said “I knew he was a boy.”

"The next day after all our checks were complete I carried our tiny bundle outside to an emotional introduction with his daddy and siblings."
