TRIBUTES have been paid to a "kind heart and devoted" family man after he died following an accident between a bicycle and a lorry.
The family of 43-year-old Tony Gillette, who died following a road traffic collision in Southampton, have today released a tribute to him.
Mr Gillette was killed when his bicycle was involved in a collision with a lorry on Terminus Terrace at 8am on June 12.
His family said: "A kind hearted, devoted family man to three children and partner, all of whom he loved with every inch of his heart.
"Tony has been taken away from us far too early, but he will never be forgotten and we will always keep his memories alive.
"Sometimes you will never know the true value of a moment until it becomes a memory. Loved and missed by so many."
Emergency services rushed to the scene last week and a police cordon was in place for much of the day.
Road closures were in place on Central Bridge and Terminus Terrace From Canute Road to the junction of Itchen Bridge.
