SPORTY types showed off their skills in Poole Park at a week-long extravaganza of events.
The annual sporting, musical and general entertainment fiesta coincided that year with the venue's centenary.
Unseasonal weather failed to deter hundreds of locals from flocking to the park for a number of events.
The opening day's main event was the regatta which attracted more than 500 entrants.
Stuart Moody, then-vice president of Poole's regatta committee, said: "There were dozens of races and events throughout the day which included children as young as ten and adults up to about 40 years old."
