A MAN who committed a series of driving, criminal damage and assault offences has been handed a suspended prison sentence for failing to comply with a community order.
Appearing at Poole Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, June 9, Michael John Kirkhope, aged 30 and of Ringwood Road, Ferndown, admitted the breach in relation to the order, which was made on February 25, 2019.
The defendant had failed to keep in contact with his responsible officer since September last year.
As a result, he has now been dealt with for three criminal damage offences in February 2019, an assault offence against a woman in the same month and two drink driving offences in November 2019 and January 2019, respectively.
Magistrates handed him various suspended prison sentences for these crimes, with an overall length of sentence of six weeks suspended for six months.
