A DRIVER will be sentenced at crown court in connection with an incident that involved a 15-mile police chase.
As reported, armed officers, dogs and the NPAS helicopter assisted in the response, which started in Wareham and ended with a vehicle being stopped by officers in West Parley.
Coby Eke, aged 25 and of Osborne Road, Swanage, appeared at Poole Magistrates' Court yesterday after the incident, which took place overnight on Tuesday.
He admitted a charge of driving a silver Vauxhall Astra dangerously on several roads.
The defendant also admitted commission of a further offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence, which had been given in relation to an assault in Wareham in August last year.
Eke was sent to Bournemouth Crown Court for sentencing, with a hearing scheduled to take place on July 10.
