With the news of Wimborne Minster Folk Festival being postponed until August, the Daily Echo takes a look at the event from June 1990.
The town centre echoed to the sound of bells and wooden clogs as dancers took to the streets and thousands of music fans lined the pavements of Wimborne for one of the south's biggest three day folk extravaganzas.
The show, which was in its ninth year, included 44 morris, clog and Irish dance teams who took part in a 700 strong
