TWO children from Christchurch have been shortlisted to win a national arts and crafts competition.
The competition, launched by online discount toy story Bargain Max, welcomed any art or craft specialism, from painting, drawing or origami, to crafty entries such as Lego designs.
Jessica and Sophie Hemmingsley had their paper mache Easter chick heads entered into the competition by their mother Laura.
Their creation has now made the top 15 shortlist from over 500 entries.
A spokesperson for Bargain Max said: "We have been overwhelmed by the quality of entries into our national competition. Lockdown has shown the creative talent that children have, and it was really tough shortlisting the entries down to just 15."
The overall winner will be announced on June 3, chosen by a craft industry judge.
