A DISQUALIFIED driver was caught by officers behind the wheel of a car in North Dorset.
Nicholas Timothy Alfred Francis, aged 28 and of New Road, Gillingham, was driving a Ford car on the B3092 in Gillingham on October 6, 2019, despite being banned from holding a licence.
Appearing at Poole Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, May 13, he admitted the offence. He was fined £100 and ordered to pay a £32 surcharge and £85 costs.
The defendant was also disqualified from driving for a further six months and fined £100 for driving without insurance.
Francis was fined a further £80 after admitting having 150 grams of cannabis in his possession on October 6, last year. The drugs were forfeited and destroyed.
