CLASS A drugs were seized by police after they raided a property in Boscombe.

Officers from the Boscombe Neighbourhood Policing Team carried out the search of an address in Knole Road at around 6.30pm on Tuesday, May 19.

This action from police followed reports of drug dealing in the area. A mobile phone was among the items seized by police.

The raid was carried out with support from the dog unit and police dog Marley.

A Dorset Police spokeswoman said: "A quantity of suspected class A drugs was recovered.

"A 48-year-old local man has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A.

"He has been released under investigation while enquiries continue."
