DIVERSE Abilities’ 'Sing to Raise' campaign has launched on Facebook following numerous cancellations as a result of the coronavirus outbreak.
The first of the livestream series, featuring local performer Gecko and The Bee, raised more than £100 for Dorset’s disability charity.
Fundraising manager at Diverse Abilities, Emma Bovey said: "We are thrilled that the first of our Facebook live stream events was such a great success. It’s a difficult time for charities across the nation, with an increased demand on services but a reduced capacity to fundraise, we’re taking stock of all our usual programming and seeing where we can make things work. We’ve got a few exciting plans in the pipeline too."
Upcoming performances include Lucas Hardy on May 22 at 7pm and Luke Dubyah on May 29, also at 7pm.
