POLICE have released a CCTV image of two men after a woman in her 60s was attacked by a dog at the Sea View viewpoint in Poole.

They have urged the public to contact them if they recognise the men following an incident at around 1.30pm on Thursday April 23.

"The victim was walking her dog on Constitution Hill when she was approached by another dog which became aggressive and bit her on the arm causing four puncture wounds" said a police spokesman.

"The victim’s dog was also injured in the incident. The dog’s owner asked the victim if she was all right, but did not leave his details."

The dog is described as a dark-coloured Staffordshire Bull Terrier or Rottweiler-type breed.

Police Constable Riona Hanley, of Dorset Police, said: "We are continuing to make enquiries into this incident and I have now obtained an image of two men I would like to speak to.

"I appreciate the image is not of the best quality but I would urge anyone who may recognise the men pictured in the images to please get in touch."
