A WOMAN had to be rescued by firefighters after falling off a ladder into a construction trench.
The woman, who was treated by paramedics, had fallen into the shallow trench at an address in New Road, West Parley, Ferndown.
Firefighters from Redhill Park and Ferndown fire stations used a step ladder and an ambulance carry chair to get the woman to safety.
The incident took place around 5.25pm on Friday.
