A MAN has been arrested after officers investigated a series of business burglaries and car thefts.
From Bransgore, a 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the thefts.
Firstly, a safe and some ice-creams were stolen from a property in Station Road, Holmsley on February 11.
Then, on March 7, a selection of tools were stolen from a garage in Undershore Road, Lymington.
During this burglary, a Mitsubishi pick-up, a Skoda Octavia, and a Volkswagen Gold were stolen, the man was arrested for these car thefts and for the interference of a fourth car.
He was also connected to a burglary at the Hinton service station on March 7 where a quantity of cigarettes, alcohol and money was stole.
The man has been released from custody on police bail as our enquiries continue.
