Before Poole Arndale Centre Shopping Centre was built this is how Kingland Road in Poole looked in 1960. The road was access to Poole Grammar School and the Lady Walking Fields then on to Poole Park. Redevelopment started in June 1966 and the first phase of the Arndale Centre was opened in 1969.
