THE court trial of a teenager accused of murdering a 20-year-old man in Bournemouth has been delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Trial proceedings involving Jamie Higgs were due to begin at Winchester Crown Court on Monday, May 11.
However, all jury trials were suspended in late March as the Covid-19 outbreak spread.
Higgs, aged 18 and of Windsor Road, Boscombe, is accused of killing Kai Joshua Archer on November 16 last year.
In February, Higgs pleaded not guilty to the charge at a court hearing in Winchester.
A court spokesperson confirmed no new trial date had been set at present and Higgs had been remanded into custody.
As reported, Mr Archer, who was 20, suffered stab wounds to the chest during an alleged incident in St Swithun's Road.
