TWO men have been arrested after a police pursuit in Poole on Monday evening.
A green Citreon Xsara Picasso allegedly failed to stop for officers when requested after it had reportedly been seen driving erratically on Commercial Road in Poole.
The pursuit covered the Holes Bay and Canford Heath areas.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "At around 6.15pm on Monday, May 11 a green Citroen Xsara Picasso allegedly failed to stop for officers when requested after it had reportedly previously been seen driving erratically on Commercial Road in Poole.
"It is reported that officers followed the vehicle, assisted by the NPAS helicopter, before it came to a stop on Adastral Road at the junction with Oakdale road.
"A 45-year-old man from Poole was arrested on suspicion of driving offences. A 45-year-old Bournemouth man was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle.
"They are both currently assisting officers with their enquiries."
