ART students at Bournemouth and Poole College put their talents to the test – for a good cause.
As part of a special project in May 1990, they painted a collection of murals for Linwood School at Alma Road, Winton.
The murals were presented to the school and were displayed around the walls of the hydrotherapy pool there.
The project was set up by Penny Harvey of Linwood and Jeremy Maine, head of Bournemouth and Poole College art department.
Pupils and teachers were entertained by Bournemouth and Poole College students, who staged a play on the sports field.
Both children and staff were in fancy dress with a pirate theme.
