HASKINS has confirmed its garden centres will reopen from 9am today after following the government announcement.

The Dorset based business, which has a garden centre in Ferndown, confirmed the reopening in a Twitter thread.

It said: “We will be reopening at 9am on Wednesday, May 13 to allow you to buy garden supplies to help you enjoy your garden while at home.

“We have considerable safety measures in place to ensure social distancing at our centres.

“We ask our customers to please visit our centres to purchase their garden essentials at this time, social visits are not permitted in line with the Government’s guidelines.

“We anticipate that there will be queues outside to get into our centres due to the capacity restrictions, to allow people to maintain social distancing. We recommend people please consider using our click and collect service where possible, which we will be launching very soon.

“Please note that our restaurant, toilets and play area will remain closed in line with the Government’s guidelines.

“Only guide dogs and assistance dogs are permitted in the centres at this time.”

The garden centres will be open 9am until 7pm, Monday to Friday. 9am until 6pm on Saturdays and 10am until 4.30pm on Sundays.

People are encouraged to shop individually and navigation makrers will be on the floor to help social distancing.

It also asks people only touch itmes they wish to purchase, and only card payments will be accepted.
