THE number of deaths in Dorset hospitals from coronavirus has risen to 139.
NHS England has revealed just one person's death from the virus has been registered in the county in the last 48 hours.
The person died in Poole Hospital where there have been a total of 45 deaths.
At the Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS Trust, 58 people have died.
The number of deaths at Dorset County Hospital is 23 and there have been 13 deaths within the Dorset Healthcare Universities Trust.
Today's figures bring the total number of deaths in hospitals in England to 23,149, an increase of 178 in the last 24 hours.
Those who died were aged between 32 and 98 with 12 people, aged between 58 and 95, having no underlying health conditions.
