AMBULANCE and fire crews helped a person suffering breathing difficulties after a fire which started underneath a wood burner.
Two fire crews from Wimborne and one from Poole went to Cockerell Close in Merley just after 8pm last night.
The fire, in the lounge of a property, involved a wood store beneath a log burner. It was out on arrival.
Crews called an ambulance and the occupant was helped with first aid and oxygen therapy.
