AS A seventh coronavirus death on the Isle of Wight is announced this afternoon (Thursday), the Isle of Wight NHS Trust has also revealed the number of those who have recovered and been discharged from hospital has gone up.

Nine people who were admitted to St Mary’s Hospital after testing positive for COVID-19 have now recovered and been discharged, says the Trust.
As of yesterday (Wednesday), there were 38 confirmed cases on the Isle of Wight.
It means the Island has the second fewest number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the country.
