THERE has been another rise in the number of cases of confirmed coronavirus cases in Warrington.
According to Government figures published today, Saturday, there are now 97 confirmed patients suffering with the illness in the town.
That is a rise of 17 in 24 hours.
There are likely to be many more people self-isolating at home or recovered.
Six people have sadly died in Warrington Hospital.
The past 24 hours have seen the highest death toll yet in the UK with 708 people sadly dying. It brings the totoal number of people to have died to 4,313.
There are 41,903 confirmed cases.
