A 26-YEAR-old woman has been jailed for 31 weeks for three assaults on police and and threats involving Covid-19.
On Thursday, April 2, officers were called to an address in the Orford area following reports of a disturbance.
During this, Ellie Morris was arrested for public order and three assaults on police - accompanied by the now familiar threats involving Covid 19 directed at both officers and neighbours.
Yesterday, Friday, April 3, she was given a custodial sentence of 31 weeks for this and also a previous police assault that had been dealt with by means of a community order - which has now been revoked in favour of a spell in custody.
