Passengers are reminded that the remaining First Wessex buses left running in the Weymouth area are operating to a Sunday timetable.
Wessex Services 1 (Portland) , 2 (Littlemoor) and 10 (Dorchester) are operating a Sunday service daily plus there are additional journeys during peak times to help emergency and key workers. There is a limited service on the Jurassic Coaster X53 between Bridport, Lyme Regis and Axminster. Passengers are encouraged to use contactless payment.
No other services are operating.
First Wessex’ managing director Marc Reddy said: “With much of the UK effectively ordered to stay at home for at least the next few weeks, we have made the decision to move to a Sunday timetable to support those who still need to get to and from work and get out to shops and pharmacies, whilst fulfilling our own role as vital key workers during this time of national crisis."
