A DONKEY named Meg and 200 children from Wareham schools ensured the town's Passion Play was a huge success.
Five local schools part on the streets of Wareham by performing in the play, which tells the story of the last weeks of Jesus Christ's life from his arrival in Jerusalem to his crucifixion and resurrection.
The event, held April 9, 2000, was organised by Ann Ashcroft, the team vicar St Martin's Church at Sandford and the church's children's worker Kate Kendall, and was supported by Churches Together
