WE all know it is important to stay fit, healthy and positive in these difficult times, and that is why David Lloyd in Great Sankey is launching virtual home workouts.

David Lloyd Clubs@Home offers a wide range of workouts, advice and activities for every level and age.

Delivered by its team of experts, they are designed to re-energise the body and mind and can easily be done at home or in the garden.

The classes will be rolled out in the coming weeks, and will be accompanied by expert wellbeing advice and information, and fun activities to help younger ones to keep entertained at home.

Following the successful trial of its first live streamed HIIT fitness classes, Battlebox and Blaze, a wider programme is planned to be rolled out.

A wide range of specially created ‘on demand’ classes are being developed that can be used at home at any time of the day.

Classes range from HIIT and weight-bearing classes through to yoga, Pilates and mindfulness and there will be bespoke content for all ages and levels, including children, families and older people and available in a range of languages.

Initially available through the David Lloyd Clubs members’ app, the health club group plans to offer a selection of the workouts to non-members shortly through social media and the website.

A programme of workout and meditation playlists will also be available on David Lloyd Clubs’ Spotify page and available to everyone to enjoy at any time of the day or night.
