If you're stuck at home due to coronavirus don't forget you can explore one of The Tank Museum’s nine exhibitions via Google Street View.
The flagship Tank Story Exhibition has been captured in a series of 360-degree photographs and stitched together to enable virtual travellers to “walk” around the tanks and other artefacts displayed. Users on Google Maps and Google Earth can now zoom in and explore 26 key tanks from the last 100 years, from the first tank right up to the Challenger 2, currently in service.
Museum spokesman Nik Wyness said: “This is a great way to showcase the size and scale of The Tank Museum – whilst providing a tantalising glimpse of this compelling modern museum."
