THE Hengistbury Head land train and Land Rover service has been suspended until further notice.
The train was already out of action, but operators have now said: "Due to the ongoing escalation of cases of Covid 19 and the indication from the health professionals that the situation still has some way to go before it peaks, we have taken the decision to stop all Land Rover trips until further notice.
"This is to protect both our staff and visitors who would be sitting in close proximity to each other. As you all appreciate this is a fast-moving scenario at present with the government making daily announcements on restrictions which could be more severe over the coming days and weeks."
They said the situation will remain under review.
