ORGANISERS of the Bournemouth Air Festival are still planning for this year’s event to go ahead.
The event is scheduled to take place on the weekend of August 20 to August 23.
A spokesperson for the air festival said: “As I’m sure everyone can appreciate and understand, we are constantly monitoring and responding to government advice within a rapidly changing situation.
“The festival is still about five months away so we are still planning for the event and hopefully we can celebrate at the end of the summer.”
Flying at this year’s festival is the RAF Typhoon, the Battle of Britain memorial flight, RAF HC2 Chinook among a host of others.
The 2020 air festival is supporting the Royal Navy Royal Marines Charity, the RAF Benevolent Fund, the RAF Association and ABF The Soldiers Charity.
