DORSET Wildlife Trust has launched a social media campaign to help people remain connected during the COVID-19 outbreak.
DWT centres are now closed and staff at have started home working where possible.
Events and volunteering days at the trust have been put on hold until the end of April. The situation will be regularly monitored, and DWT will update everyone on its website and social media channels.
The trust has started the social media capain #dorsetwildlifewindow, helping people find ways connect to nature while self-isolating.
DWT has encouraged everyone to share photos and videos of what they see out their windows and will send emails with ideas.
Chief executive Brian Bleese said: “We want to help and encourage people to get out into nature where they can.”
“There are several reserves where it is possible to socially distance, with open spaces and a host of wildlife to enjoy.”
