A tasty pie
A PIE sold at a kiosk next to Fordingbridge Recreation Ground won bronze at this year's Melton Mowbray British Pie Awards.
Nigel Davis, of the Riverside Kiosk, came third with his chicken, ham and leek pie.
He makes a selection of pies at the kiosk, selling them locally and even delivering by arrangement.
A kiosk spokesman said: "Nigel is delighted to have received this world renowned award for a truly outstanding pie.
"He makes a selection of pies at the kiosk, but the chicken, ham and leek pie is one of our best sellers.
"Having worked as a chef in world famous hotels and restaurants for over 40 years, his passion for good simple food has made the Riverside Kiosk the success it is today."
