A HOMELESS woman has been banned from all shops in Bournemouth town centre after admitting theft and using threatening behaviour.

Madeleine Kreina Pankhurst, 48, admitted stealing clothing from H&M in Commercial Road to the value of £55.95 on January 4 and also stealing more clothes worth £116.96 from the same store on January 9.

She pleaded guilty to using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards a man in Marks and Spencer foodhall in Seamoor Road, Westbourne on January 9 and also admitted committing further offences while subject to a conditional discharge imposed for a series of offences including assault and theft.

She was banned from retail premises in Bournemouth town centre bounded by the Wessex Way, Holdenhurst Road, St Swithuns Road,Gervis Road, Meyrick Road and Bournemouth beach.

She was also goiven a six weekprison sentence, suspended for 12 months and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £122.
