SCHOOLS across Dorset have closed as the coronavirus continues to spread.
Some schools are closing after a positive coronavirus test, while some have been authorised to close should it be necessary.
Here is a full list of schools which have closed:
- Talbot Primary School in Poole closed for 48 hours on Tuesday after a "member of the school community tested positive for coronavirus
- Carter Community School in Poole closed on Tuesday due to "high staff absence"
- St Michael's Primary School has closed after a "member of the parent community" tested positive on Monday (16)
- Twynham School has closed to year 9, 10, 12 and 13 due to "staffing levels".
- Twins Sails school has closed its nursery
- Bourne Academy closed to all year 9 pupils until further notice due to "staff shortage"
- Corfe Hills School year 9 students have been asked to "work from home" on Wednesday
- St Peter's in Southbourne is closed to Year 10 pupils after more than 20 staff members self-isolated
- Bournemouth & Poole College will close from 3pm on March 18 and as of March 23, all learning will be moved online
- First year A-level students and first year vocational students at Brockenhurst college will work remotely from March 23
- Highcliffe School closed to year 9 pupils today (March 18)
- Poole High School students in year 9 and 12 have been asked to work from home today (March 18) tomorrow and Friday
- Lytchett Minster School - year 9 students to study at home on March 19 and 20
