A SUPERMARKET security guard had plants and stones thrown at him by a man who had been removed from the North Dorset store.

The culprit also smashed a bottle of alcohol on the ground after hurling items at the victim at Tesco in Stour Park, Blandford.

A man was seen acting suspiciously in the alcohol aisle shortly before 2pm on Monday, February 17.

The security guard approached the man but he started acting aggressively.

The security guard took the man out of the supermarket. Once outside, it is reported that the man picked up plants and stones and threw them at the security guard. A window was smashed during the incident.
