CHARTERHOUSE auctioneers' April auction of classic and vintage cars features a 1965 Daimler V8 250 estimated at £18,000-20,000, which has had a vast sum spent on restoration.
The Daimler V8 250 has covered just 12 miles since an engine and gearbox rebuilt and is yet to be run-in, something which many modern motorists do not need to do on their new cars.
It also benefits with the walnut dash and door capping’s all being restored, a new wiring loom and headlining installed, along with new chrome wire wheels and tyres.
Head of Classic Cars & Motorcycles, Matthew Whitney said: "It is beautifully presented and represents a much less expensive proposition than buying an equivalent Jaguar Mk II.
"With its silky smooth automatic gearbox and great paint combination of gunmetal grey with a red leather interior this delightful Daimler is ready for another 55 years use."
The owner is ready for the Daimler to go to a new enthusiast at the Charterhouse specialist classic car auction at The Royal Bath & West Showground on April 8.
Charterhouse are now accepting further entries for this auction of classic and vintage cars on April 8, their classic and vintage motorcycle auction on May 6 and their two day April 2-3 antiques auction with specialist sections of pictures, books, sporting items and Asian art.
