4 Dragioke at The Lions Head Pub -The Lions Head Pub in Boscombe presents an exciting twist on a pub favourite on Sunday. March is ‘Musicals Month’ at The Lions Head Pub and they are merging two iconic musicals together. The evening will see The Rocky Horror Picture Show be pitted against Priscilla Queen of the Desert. Fancy dress is encouraged, and the best fancy dress will win a prize. Karaoke will run from 7pm to 9pm. 5 Pottery Taster Workshop - This workshop, held by Charlotte Miller at her studio in Westbourne, is designed as the perfect introduction to pottery. Participants will explore how to create small scale animals from the pinching technique, as well as learn how to add colour to their mini sculpture. Taking place at Charlotte Miller Ceramics on Robert Louis Stevenson Avenue from 10am to 1pm, this event offers participants an opportunity to explore and improve their pottery skills. 7 Swanage Blues Festival - The 33rd Swanage Blues Festival returns to The Black Swan Inn to celebrate an amazing collection of Blues musicians. Starting on March 5 and finishing on March 8, this four-day festival offers over 70 gigs and open mics, providing a plethora of entertainment. There will be a lively set of classic blues tunes from a variety of performers which will get everyone’s toes tapping. 8 Dog Life Drawing Session - On Sunday The Old School House is hosting a four-legged, furry friend life drawing session. You will have the opportunity to draw the dogs in situ or capture a photograph or two and draw from those. Attendees are required to bring their own materials, but refreshments will be provided.
