A SOUTHAMPTON man who assaulted a woman has been ordered to do unpaid work.
Cameron Daniel McCreight, 22, assaulted his victim during an incident in the city on March 20.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, McCreight pleaded not guilty to assault.
But he was found guilty following a trial at the same court earlier this month.
Magistrates imposed a community order for 12 months, with 20 rehabilitation activity requirement days and 100 hours of unpaid work.
McCreight, of Bridge Road, Southampton, was also ordered to pay £775 in court costs and a victim surcharge of £85.
