This show is The One Where Friends is a musical - and it’s hysterical.

In the week that the iconic sitcom’s cast revealed they would be reuniting, Friendsical, an original and unique new parody musical, stops off in Poole.

Inspired by the much loved gang from the series, it is a glorious trip back in time.

Ross guides the audience through this whistle stop tour of the much-loved comedy, which ran for an incredible 10 series.

The Friendsical writers and actors have their work cut out cramming all those plot lines into one evening, but they pull it off.

As well as Ross, Rachel, Joey, Phoebe, Chandler and Monica, fans get to laugh at everyone from Gunther to Richard, Janice and Ugly Naked Guy once more.

The costumes, knowing jokes and sets are spot on. Cleverly, the show even cuts to the interval with the line: ‘We were on a break’.

Songs include ‘(He’s her) Lobster!’, ‘Richard’s Moustache’ and ‘You’re Over Me, When Were You Under Me?’.

One of our favourites was ‘Geology Rocks’, which sees Ross dance with two dinosaurs.

The cast bring a bundle of energy to their roles, hurtling through their many dance routines and costume changes with gusto.

All the actors were great, but Chandler’s mannerisms were perhaps the most true to life.

The night ended with a particularly cheery number which featured the line ‘We’ll never forget our Friends’ and had the crowd clapping along.

Friendsical is in town for two more nights, so grab your pals and enjoy reliving the 90s and a generation’s favourite cult comedy.

Friendsical runs at Poole Lighthouse until Saturday, February 29
