IMAGES have been released by Dorset Police in connection with two reported shoplifting incidents in Bournemouth.

Officers say a man entered the post office on Bradpole Road around 3pm on Sunday, February 16, and asked the assistant for a 30g packet of rolling tobacco.

While the shop worker's back was turned the man took the tobacco and left without paying for it.

He got into a car that was waiting outside for him.

Police think the same man was one of a pair of shoplifters who stole two items, worth £60, from TK Maxx at the Ringwood Road Retail Park, Bournemouth, around 6pm, the day earlier on Saturday, February 15.

This time the suspect was seen putting two items into a bag carried by the other man.

Police Sergeant Carmel Ryan, of Dorset Police, said: "Following enquiries I have obtained CCTV images of a man I would like to speak to from each of these incidents.

“I would ask anyone who has information about who he is, or who witnessed these incidents, to please get in touch.”
