A car ended up on its side due to ‘treacherous’ road conditions.
Emergency services were called to the A356 at Hooke near Beaminster just after 7.30am yesterday.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: “We were called at 7.34am to reports of a single vehicle collision involving a grey VW Polo.
“It was on its side and the road was blocked.
“The fire service and ambulance also attended. it was a female driver, but it’s not believed she sustained any serious injuries.
“We left the scene at 8.20am.”
Crews from Charmouth and Crewkerne fire stations attended just before 7.40am.
A spokesman for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Crews attended a road traffic collision with a person trapped due to treacherous road conditions on the A356.
“On arrival, the driver was walking free from the vehicle and was checked over by the ambulance.”
