VOCAL harmonies and swinging sounds will be heard in Poole town centre on Friday afternoon. Local musical trio, Soda Pops will be performing a free concert at Esprit on High Street North from 5pm to 7.30pm.

An Evening with the Soda Pops will see the talented singers perform a wide musical repertoire that ranges from the 1940s to the present day, yet all in their unmistakeable vintage style.

Music lovers can also enjoy first-class cuisine and beverages at the bistro restaurant at Platinum Skies retirement living site, Esprit. Visitors will also get the chance to meet the dedicated lifestyle team and learn about the different services available to residents.

Mike Lyons, operations director for Platinum Skies, said: “We’re excited to welcome everyone to our impressive bistro and communal lounge at Esprit, which promises an evening of great music, laughter, delicious food and fun. These are all popular ingredients amongst our residents and enhances their retirement.”

David Hines, chief operating officer of Platinum Skies, added: “Just like every Platinum Skies location, the fantastic facilities allow residents to share their passions and interests. We like to have a good time together and music has the added benefit of helping prevent many of the degenerative conditions that can stifle the enjoyment of retirement.”

Since opening in July last year, Esprit has become home to a growing community of residents. Being based in the heart of the community is one of the many attractions and benefits of Esprit.

The site features a collection of one and two bedroom apartments.

Further free community events are planned next month with Afternoon Tea at Esprit on March 4 at 2pm and the Alani String Quartet performing on March 6 from 5pm.
